Born in Athens, Greece. Professor of Printmaking at the Athens School of Fine Arts; Head of the A.S.F.A. Printmaking Studio B, 1989- 2016.

Career

Her international artistic practice consists of expanded print, collaborative art projects, educational-collaborative work, followed by curated educational exhibitions.
She has presented as many as 35 solo exhibitions, several of which by honorary invitation, in museums, municipalities, universities and institutions in Greece and abroad.

Her work has been shown in over 100 invitational and juried International Biennials and Triennials, around the world; Numerous group exhibitions .

Her work has been the recipient of major international awards, including the First Prize at the 1st Print Triennial, Thessaloniki, Greece, 2008; First Prize in Graphic Art, Municipality Serra San Quirico, Italy, 1980; First Printmaking Prize, House of Arts and Letters, Athens, Greece, 1985; The Award of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Belgrade, at the 5th Belgrade Print Biennial, Serbia, 1998; Awarded at the 18th Alexandria Biennial, in Egypt, 1994 (National participation of Greece); Artitudes Award, New York Fine Art Competition, N.Y. USA 1989. Her work has been awarded fifteen international distinctions.
